A short, 8-by-10-inch perfect-bound book about Vietnamese-American contributions to modern Southeastern United States’ food culture.

The book features research, interviews, illustrations, and photography of the Vietnamese influence on the culinary landscape of the Greater New Orleans area.

This project is a tribute to the hard work and sacrifices of Peyton’s grandmother, who owned a Chinese restaurant in Slidell pre-Katrina.
